From Inside to Outside of Barcelona

We spent our first 3 nights in Barcelona in the heart of the city. In a huge hostel. Full of a lot of youths lookin’ to party. The location was convenient (this place had everyyything) and the people were nice and loved sharing stories, but it took us by surprise at how fast it drained us. After an evening spent wondering why we felt so dead, we made a quick decision to skip out of the city and move to the smaller foothills of Barcelona.

You Deserve the Break.

Today, we’re packing up and heading to Europe for the next few weeks. I was wondering why I was feeling uncharacteristically apathetic about our upcoming trip these past couple weeks. I’ve been working HARD on some projects that required a lot of solo discipline and lonely meandering through fears and doubts. I was feeling guilty for picking this time to go because I’m in the middle of something important in this new work I’ve created.

Georgia Nostalgia

Earlier this month, Victor and I took a couple weeks to visit family in northwest Georgia. I spent my entire life coming to visit my grandma in this small town for a few weeks each summer. We made best friends with my grandma’s neighbors. It’s one of those places that feels like a “temporary” home. A place I don’t feel like I could live, but will continue to visit for the rest of my life when I need to connect back to all the nostalgia and nature lovin’ it brings.
